FinMin Aurangzeb meets Japanese envoy to discuss bilateral relations
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb reaffirmed the Pakistani government's commitment to advancing its reform agenda to maintain the macroeconomic stability achieved over the past fourteen months, according to Radio Pakistan.
He made these remarks during a meeting with the outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan, Mitsuhira Wada, in Islamabad on Wednesday. The two officials discussed various issues of mutual interest, focusing on the longstanding bilateral cooperation and shared perspectives on regional and global matters.
The finance minister acknowledged Japan's crucial role in providing developmental and economic assistance, which has significantly aided Pakistan in addressing its economic challenges.
Aurangzeb highlighted the potential for both nations to enhance their relationship through increased trade, cultural exchanges, educational cooperation, and people-to-people interactions.
