Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will reportedly not join Trump in the White House
Ivanka Trump stood beside her father as he won a historic second term as President, but sources indicate she may not join him in the White House.
The tall blonde is ready to be First Daughter again; however, she and her husband, Jared Kushner, have spent recent years settling into life in Miami and are not planning a return to politics.
Both 43, the couple relocated to Florida after a turbulent time in Washington D.C., where they served as advisers during Trump’s 2017-2020 administration.
According to multiple sources, this involvement cost them some of their more liberal friends.
They now reside with their three children on Indian Creek Island, known as the “Billionaire’s Bunker,” with neighbors including close friends Tom Brady, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez.
A Miami society source shared that Ivanka, who described her father’s hush money conviction in May as “painful,” is “loved” in her new community.
A close source added, “Ivanka is proud of her father, she loves him, but his last presidency took its toll.
“There were friends who turned their back on Ivanka and Jared because of Donald, and that was hurtful.
“Now she has a great life, her thoughts are she does not need to be working in the White House to make a difference.”
Although Ivanka won’t be attending West Wing meetings, she joined her father on stage early Wednesday morning with Jared, her siblings, and Melania Trump to celebrate his victory. She is looking forward to having an influence in public life in other ways.
“I expect that we could see Ivanka work with tech leaders and talk about child safety on the internet, as well as her concerns about child trafficking, that’s the kind of thing she concentrated on in the White House,” said the source.
“I think we’ll see her utilize her power in that way.”
During her time in the White House, Ivanka also focused on education and empowering women and families economically.
Another source close to the Kushner family noted, “Ivanka has been remarkably consistent for two years and right now she is focused on her family and the needs of her children.”
