Halle Bailey criticizes DDG for bringing son on Kai Cenat’s stream without consent
Halle Bailey has publicly expressed her frustration with ex-boyfriend DDG after their 10-month-old son, Halo, appeared on a livestream hosted by popular YouTuber Kai Cenat.
Bailey, currently out of town, took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice her disapproval, revealing that she hadn’t been notified beforehand. “I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions without my consent,” the In Your Hands singer shared, describing herself as “his mother and protector.”
In a follow-up tweet, Bailey revealed she’s experiencing “severe postpartum” and expressed her need for boundaries to be respected, especially as she continues her postpartum journey. "Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap," she added, emphasizing her emotional vulnerability and the importance of her role in protecting her child’s privacy.

Bailey and DDG welcomed Halo in December 2023, but announced their split in October 2024 after nearly three years together. Despite their breakup, DDG has often posted moments with his son on social media, which has led to criticism regarding his parenting approach. Responding to recent accusations of “using” his son for fame, DDG defended himself, stating, “My son is ‘famous’ because of his parents.”
As the former couple navigates co-parenting, Bailey’s recent remarks highlight the complexities and emotional challenges of maintaining boundaries and privacy in the public eye.
