Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad on Wednesday to condemn a recent shooting incident in Karachi, where two Chinese nationals were injured, according to Radio Pakistan.

The attack, which took place on Tuesday in the SITE Industrial Area of the city, prompted Beijing to demand stronger security measures for its citizens in Pakistan.

"I am here to condemn the attack on Chinese nationals and to inquire about their health," said PM Shehbaz said during his meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong. According to hospital officials, one of the victims remains in serious condition at Liaquat National Hospital.

“The security of Chinese nationals is our top priority,” he stated, adding that he was personally overseeing the investigation to ensure justice.
