Conservative activist’s outreach to Amish voters in Pennsylvania played a critical role in Donald Trump’s 2024 win.

Scott Presler, a conservative activist known for his outreach to the Amish community in Pennsylvania, is gaining recognition online for his instrumental role in Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory.

By connecting with Amish voters and emphasizing local issues, Presler is widely credited by Trump supporters as a key figure in helping secure Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes—pivotal in Trump’s anticipated return to the White House.

Trump, 78, is projected to have defeated his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, 60, winning major battleground states like North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. With further victories in Wisconsin, Trump appears on track for a second presidential term, following his first from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, the Associated Press forecasts a Republican majority in the Senate, further solidifying the GOP’s position in government.

Presler’s conservative activism dates back to 2016, when he served as a regional field director for the Republican Party of Virginia. Since then, he has become widely known for his involvement in conservative movements, including organizing the ‘March Against Sharia’ events alongside ACT for America and participating in the 2020 ‘Stop the Steal’ protests, which challenged the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s victory.

In the 2024 election cycle, Presler focused on Pennsylvania, specifically targeting Amish communities. To connect with this demographic, he highlighted an incident involving state authorities raiding an Amish farmer’s dairy for selling unpasteurized milk without a permit, framing it as an example of government overreach. This narrative strongly resonated with Amish voters, whom he encouraged to support Trump to protect their agricultural practices, religious freedoms, and traditional lifestyle. Beyond the Amish community, Presler reached out to union laborers and hunters, underscoring Trump’s stances on job security and Second Amendment rights.

Following Trump’s projected victory in Pennsylvania, Presler celebrated on X (formerly Twitter), calling it the “best day” of his life and expressing his intent to remain in the state.

Although Presler is openly gay, he has championed conservative causes within the LGBTQ+ community, notably as a co-founder of ‘Gays for Trump.’ On X, where he is known as @ScottPresler, he has amassed over 1.8 million followers. His bio highlights his political activism, from supporting community clean-up initiatives to organizing efforts against Democratic candidates. His nonprofit, Early Vote Action, has also worked to encourage early voting among Trump supporters, showcasing his dedication to building voter engagement within the conservative base.

Now in his mid-30s, Presler holds a degree in criminal justice from George Mason University. As the son of a U.S. Navy captain, he has supported conservative policies beyond the campaign trail, including Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law and gun rights advocacy, solidifying his position within conservative circles. His efforts in Pennsylvania and beyond underscore his commitment to conservative values and his influential role in mobilizing Trump’s voter base.
