Elon Musk slams Jennifer Lopez for staying silent on Diddy's alleged crimes
Elon Musk recently questioned Jennifer Lopez’s silence about Sean "Diddy" Combs’ alleged sex crimes during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
While Musk and Rogan discussed Lopez’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris on Monday’s podcast episode, they argued that her past relationship with Combs is a reason for voters to disregard her views.
“JLo was like his ex-girlfriend and it’s like now deciding she’s like warning people against [Donald] Trump,” the Tesla CEO, 53, said. “How many people did she warn against Diddy, right? Oh zero, OK.”
“Maybe we shouldn’t trust her opinion,” he added.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper was arrested in September on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. Prosecutors claim Combs hosted violent, drug-fueled parties known as “Freak Offs” after his high-profile events.
Since then, numerous men and women have filed sexual assault lawsuits against Combs, with the youngest alleged victim being just 9 years old at the time.
The "Let's Get Loud" singer, 55, dated Combs from 1999 to 2001. However, she has not been implicated in any of these lawsuits, and it’s unclear whether she knew about any alleged misconduct.
Lopez has also not commented publicly on her ex’s arrest.
“People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was like abusing, you know, kids basically and yet they still fed him kids,” Musk added. “Like, where’s the accountability? They had to know.”
While the SpaceX CEO questioned what people in the industry knew, he reportedly once spoke openly about his friendship with Combs.
According to a recent book, Musk allegedly “boasted” about his connection to Combs in a conversation with Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels.
“I don’t know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter,” Musk allegedly once told Samuels, per “Character Limit: How Elon Musk Destroyed Twitter.”
