In the local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs 1,000, settling at Rs282,200 per tola. The price of gold per 10 grams also fell by Rs857, reaching Rs241,941.

Meanwhile, in the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $10, bringing the new global price to $2,727.
In the local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,000, settling at Rs282,200 per tola. The price of gold per 10 grams also fell by Rs857, reaching Rs241,941.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of $75,000 overnight, fueled by growing speculation that former President Donald Trump was gaining momentum in the U.S. election.
As election results trickled in, the cryptocurrency surged by 7%, reaching $74,392 after briefly hitting its previous record of $73,797.68 in March.
Coinbase and MicroStrategy also saw gains, rising by 3% and 4%, respectively, as investors anticipated heightened volatility in the markets until a clear winner emerges.
