On a tense Election Night 2024, Jon Stewart took a moment to reassure his live 'Daily Show' audience amid a special coverage titled The Daily Show Presents A Live Election Night Special With Jon Stewart: Indecision 2024: Nothing We Can Do About It Now. The late-night host reminded viewers that, although early results suggested a potential Donald Trump win, it wasn't the final say on America’s future.

Stewart passionately urged, “We have to regroup... and work day in and day out to create a better society for our children.” He criticized pollsters for potential misjudgments in predicting a tight race between Kamala Harris and Trump, declaring, "You don’t know sh** about sh**." Stewart’s commentary highlighted the repeated inaccuracy of poll-based assumptions, especially following previous election cycles.

Throughout the one-hour show, Stewart kept the mood light by celebrating Democratic wins, though he noted a canceled appearance from Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, hinting at a tense outcome. Stewart’s final remarks encouraged viewers not to despair but to keep pushing toward their vision for America.
