On Election Day, a Google search discrepancy led to questions about bias when searches for “Where can I vote for Harris?” displayed a voting map, but the same search for “Where can I vote for Trump?” did not.

Google clarified that this difference occurred due to Harris also being the name of a Texas county, which automatically triggered the “Where to vote” map feature, a pattern also seen in Vance County searches. Google assured users that a fix was underway and stated that few users actually search for voting locations this way.
