Popular YouTuber and FaZe Clan COO Richard "Ricky" Bengston, better known as FaZe Banks, publicly declared his support for Donald Trump just a day before the 2024 presidential election.

In a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), Banks highlighted his reasons for choosing Trump over Kamala Harris, citing concerns about the economy, immigration, and alleged media bias.

Banks, who has been a lifelong Democrat, shared his change of perspective. “I’ve been a democrat my entire life, until today.

Trumps America > Bidens America and it’s really not close,” he posted, adding that he believes the nation has been misled about Trump in previous election cycles.

He went on to urge his followers to make their own “informed decision,” rather than being influenced by celebrity endorsements. “F**k what I, Elon Musk, Beyoncé or Taylor Swift have to say. At the end of the day we’re all rich and will be fine one way or another. Can you survive in an America where Milk is $20 a gallon? That’s the question to ask yourself,” Banks emphasized.

Banks also took aim at the Harris campaign’s stance on immigration, arguing that current policies are ineffective and hypocritical.

“Illegal immigration’s gotten so bad that even the people furthest on the left have conceded to it being a major issue,” he wrote. In a reference to Harris’s statements on immigration reform, Banks commented, “You have Kamala Harris, in 2024, before GTA 6, talking about building a f**king wall at the southern border. You can’t make this sh*t up.”

Addressing issues of national security, Banks pointed to Trump’s record of maintaining peace during his tenure.

“The Middle Eastern crisis and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine” were additional topics Banks raised, claiming Trump’s leadership could bring stability in times of global tension. He also mentioned recent assassination attempts against Trump, describing these incidents as “efforts to silence him,” and adding, “JFK & Abraham Lincoln were murdered because they were atypical politicians that challenged the powers that be. America first. Food for thought.”

Banks closed his post by emphasizing the importance of voting in the upcoming election, which he described as “the most important election” of his lifetime.

He also recommended that his followers watch Elon Musk’s recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, where they discussed similar issues.

Banks noted that Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance, have openly addressed their campaign goals, contrasting them with Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.

The results of the 2024 U.S. presidential election are expected to be announced on Tuesday, November 5. However, with several swing states in play, the final outcome may remain uncertain for some time.
