Matt LeBlanc reportedly steps away from acting after Matthew Perry’s passing

Following Matthew Perry's tragic passing, Matt LeBlanc has reportedly chosen a life away from acting.

Matt LeBlanc, best known for his role as Joey Tribbiani on the iconic sitcom 'Friends,' has reportedly decided to step back from his acting career in the wake of co-star Matthew Perry’s tragic passing.

According to sources close to LeBlanc, Perry’s death has deeply impacted him, leading him to reflect on life and prioritize personal well-being over career ambitions. Perry, who portrayed Chandler Bing, passed away in October 2023, reportedly due to ketamine’s effects, leading to accidental drowning.

Close friends of LeBlanc shared with The Daily Mail and India Today that he is "still upset over the loss" and does not plan to pursue new acting projects. Instead, LeBlanc, financially secure, seeks a quieter life, away from the spotlight.

Industry insiders have likened his decision to Hollywood figures like Jack Nicholson and Rick Moranis, who left the industry to enjoy private lives. Although LeBlanc hasn’t ruled out a potential return, sources note it would take a compelling role to draw him back to the screen.
