Controversial YouTuber Johnny Somali is facing significant backlash in South Korea, with locals reportedly growing frustrated over his disruptive behavior. Known for controversial acts during his travels, Somali recently caused outrage after kissing the Statue of Peace, a monument honoring South Korean victims of wartime sexual slavery.
 



Since this incident, locals have confronted him, leading to physical altercations, including an October 31 assault during a livestream, where a stranger knocked him to the ground.

This incident and others have sparked social media discussions, with viewers supporting locals standing up to Somali’s antics. One South Korean YouTuber has reportedly even offered a 1 million won bounty (about $770) for information on Somali's location, further motivating residents to monitor his activities. Previously, Somali was charged in South Korea for assault and drug use, with his conduct becoming a topic of debate in the nation’s parliament.
