Coldplay frontman Chris Martin had an unexpected mishap during the band's final Melbourne concert at Marvel Stadium, tripping backward through an open trap door on stage.
The incident occurred on Nov. 3 as Martin was chatting with fans, creating a gasp-worthy moment captured in fan videos across social media. After being helped up by nearby crew members, the singer laughed it off, telling the crowd, "That's not planned!" and joking, "Holy s---, that was nearly a YouTube moment!"

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour, which has seen numerous viral moments since it began in March 2022, continues to wow fans worldwide with surprise guests and pop-up performances.
