Kick’s CEO Eddie has confirmed the indefinite ban of streamer Yousef "Fousey" Erakat from the platform, solidifying Kick’s stance on maintaining community standards.

Eddie responded publicly, stating, “No more Fousey, man. This isn’t good for anyone,” following a series of recent incidents that escalated concerns over Fousey’s behavior on stream.

The ban took effect shortly after Fousey launched his planned 30-day continuous livestream, a stream plagued by technical issues like muted audio that triggered an emotional outburst from the creator. During the stream, Fousey made concerning statements about self-harm, alarming viewers and raising questions about the mental health pressures faced by high-profile streamers.

Fousey responded to the ban by pointing fingers at his production team, attributing the setup failure and subsequent outburst to technical mishaps that hadn’t been addressed beforehand. “The audio was muted for 30 minutes. I lost it under the pressure,” he stated. He also criticized Kick’s decision to ban him without prior communication, expressing disappointment over the platform’s swift action despite his popularity.

This indefinite ban highlights the challenges platforms face when managing content from controversial figures and comes after previous bans on Twitch, where Fousey was suspended following offensive language and an arrest after a self-swatting incident.
