Upon the release of MPA Malik Liaqat Ali, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Population Welfare, and other PTI workers from jail, they were warmly welcomed by party workers on their arrival in their home district of Lower Dir at Khazana Bypass.
PTI Lower Dir's General Secretary, Ghulam Hussain, and Timergara Tehsil President, Iqbal Ahmad Tajik, were also present at the occasion. Addressing the workers, Special Assistant Malik Liaqat Ali and MPA Malik Shafiullah Khan stated that there is a system of oppression and injustice in the country, where Imran Khan is innocent yet faces injustice and oppression.
They claimed that PTI workers, including themselves, were unjustly imprisoned, but their determination is as strong as the Himalayas. They declared that even if a thousand FIRs are filed against them, they will not be intimidated and are ready to sacrifice their lives for Imran Khan's release and true freedom.
They believe Imran Khan wants to free the country from enslavement, which is why people support him. They vowed to continue a strong movement for his release, saying the day of his freedom is not far off. They expressed hope for justice from the new Chief Justice, Yahya Afridi, after the departure of Justice Faez Isa, and emphasized that Imran Khan has the ability to pull the country out of crises. They added that the country, rich in natural resources, needs justice and peace. Establishing justice will bring progress, prosperity, and an end to dependence on the IMF.
