Four filthy years of Biden
It would be a lot easier to judge Biden's legacy by his successes rather than failures because of the successes being so few or almost nonexistent.
The guy had a campaign in the first place because people despised Trump. Today, they despise Biden so much that the Democratic Party had to decide not to let him run. America felt divided on racial disparities and Trump had made racism not so much of a sin that the Americans had been seeing it as. Many people confessed being racist openly just like celebrities confess being homosexual and owning it. America did feel divided during Trump's presidency.
Here's how the American people feel united after 4 years of Biden: one, they can't pay their credit card debts, which has surpassed a trillion dollars. They're united as citizens with debt. Two, their property taxes are higher than they can ever remember in the past while they can't pay their mortgage and foreclosures like the ones that happened in the 2008 crash might be looming. Three, they see their government doing things that impact them but not much they can do to stop those actions, which is a true testament to the erosion of democracy. And the most important issue that unites the American people is the lack of genuine leaders, which is why so many of them aren't going to vote this time around.
Biden criticised Trump for his anti-climate actions and policies. Under Biden, America hasn't moved an inch forward in its quest to tackle climate change. Saudi Arabia was asked to drill for more oil. Fracking was fiercely defended by Biden. The Paris climate agreement was treated like an unsuccessful project, which is what it has become.
Russian interference in Trump's election using Facebook became a big worry of the American power system and loomed large over Trump's presidency. Israel interfering in American democracy using lobbies instead of Facebook is much more severe but no special prosecutor is getting hired to investigate and prosecute that. Israel started a war in Gaza and steered Biden's actions accordingly.
Trump called CNN and many other media houses fake news. He was criticised for making an assault on journalism. Biden's leading hypocrite Antony Blinken told Qatar to "turn down the volume" of Al Jazeera news coverage of the deaths of children in Gaza. I wonder what could be a worse assault on journalism than that? The Democrats put a smile on and tell the people in a soft tone that they're the good guys who are not awful like Trump and his people were. Then they turn around and do much worse things. Last time I checked, that was the definition of textbook hypocrisy. Furthermore, Trump sure did attack the mainstream media at home but during Biden's rule, people's trust in these media has eroded even further. Social media became more popular partly due to that lack of trust. Especially the way the leading publications and broadcasts described the Israeli terrorist war in Gaza convinced people that lies, omissions, spinning, information gatekeeping is what these media specialise in. What they don't say is louder than what they actually say.
With Trump, there was a chance to come out of the Cold War mindset and update its software according to the needs and realities of the world as it is today. With Biden, we saw a journey back in time of the same ridiculous Cold War thinking where certain nations were always bashed as enemies and bad actors, pushing many countries around the world to ditch America and create their own alliances. And America being isolated globally was a regular critique of Trump for the media houses because he scratched the surface of obsolete mentality. Those media houses were virtually quiet over Biden's below average influence in global affairs and America on a collision course with global public opinion.
