In a heartwarming Diwali revelation, beloved Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have shared the first glimpse of their daughter, announcing her name as Dua Padukone Singh. The announcement came via Deepika's Instagram, where she shared a touching photo of their little one, dressed adorably in red ethnic attire.

Deepika explained the meaning behind their daughter's name, stating, "Dua means a prayer because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude." This tender sentiment resonated with fans, who flooded the comments with love and blessings for the new family.

The couple welcomed their first child on September 8, 2024, and had previously announced her arrival in a joint social media post, simply stating, "Welcome baby girl. 8-9-2024. Deepika and Ranveer." The joy of new parenthood has been a transformative experience for both actors, with Deepika stepping back from the limelight since the birth of her daughter. Prior to becoming a mother, she promoted her upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD and received acclaim for her performance.

Meanwhile, Ranveer has been busy with public appearances, including the much-anticipated trailer launch of Singham Again, a film that stars both him and Deepika. He recently shared insights into their new parenting dynamic, humorously noting, "My duty to take care of the baby is in the night, hence I am here," highlighting the adjustments both have made since becoming parents.

Adding to the excitement, Ranveer hinted at a playful nod to their baby's debut in the film, dubbing her Baby Simmba in Singham Again. He remarked, "There are so many stars in our film, and let me tell you this—my baby had a debut as Baby Simmba." It's a delightful connection to their cinematic lives, intertwining family and film in a uniquely endearing way.
