Waka Flocka Flame endorses Donald Trump for president

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, has announced his endorsement of Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. 

The Atlanta-based artist shared his support for the Republican candidate on November 1 via a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. This move reflects a recent trend of celebrities publicly shifting their political support, adding new dynamics to an already unique election season.

Malphurs also posted a picture on Instagram of himself with Trump from a Miami concert in June, with the caption: "If you don’t like me or don’t f with me based off my view then the love was never real… and if you engage in public disrespect, I will never go back and forth with you ever… I’m just moving forward… Just don’t physically touch me… you get it no one made me vote this way or paid me one cent… I chose Trump for my own reasons unlike so many I know, but to each his own. God is the only judge and God knows my heart… But if you truly knew and know my fight, I’m all for independence…"

While some figures, like rapper Sexyy Red, had previously supported Trump, she ultimately cast her vote for Kamala Harris. Meanwhile, other celebrities, including Elon Musk, Amber Rose, Zachary Levi, and Brittany Mahomes, have also aligned with conservative candidates, joining long-time Republican supporters such as Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock.

Political analysts suggest that while endorsements from high-profile figures can mobilize new voters, their impact on election outcomes remains uncertain. Nonetheless, celebrity endorsements continue to capture public interest, highlighting evolving political alliances in this year’s election.
