Eventually, her manager, Patience Foster, handed her a phone with her script, and Cardi resumed her endorsement. Reflecting on her initial ambivalence about voting, she shared, “I wasn't gonna vote this year, but Kamala Harris joining the race changed my mind completely.”

In her speech, Cardi praised Harris’s policies, especially her focus on women's rights, affordable healthcare, and economic relief.
