Cardi B, the renowned rapper and "Love & Hip Hop: New York" alum, recently celebrated her 32nd birthday in style.
The festivities, attended by friends and family, including Hennessy Carolina Almánzar and FendiDa Rappa, featured special drinks like Bardi in the City, Okurrr Cosmo, and the And Did-Rita.
In a social media post, Cardi B shared the story behind her birthday outfit, revealing that she had to make a last-minute change due to a wardrobe malfunction.
"Let me tell ya about my little thotty dress. The dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small, and there wasn’t enough fabric," she explained. To salvage the situation, she visited Staten Dolls Gentlemen's Club, where she worked as a stripper for four years, and purchased a new dress.
"I love the fact that they don’t see me like Cardi B. They still treat me like Camilla. (Fun fact: That was my stripper name)," she added.
Cardi B's past as a stripper has been well-documented, and she has previously spoken about her experiences, including a 2019 admission that she would drug and rob men who attempted to pay her for sex.
Despite the controversy surrounding her past, the rapper has continued to thrive in her music career, releasing recent solo efforts like "Enough (Miami)" and "Like What (Freestyle)."
