India knocked out from the Hong Kong Super Sixes tournament after suffering three consecutive defeats, the final blow dealt by UAE.
Captained by Robin Uthappa, the Indian team faced setbacks in each match, failing to advance further in the event held at Mong Kok.
India’s exit began with a close one-run defeat in the must-win encounter with the UAE.
Chasing a target of 130 runs, the Indian team came up just short, managing only 129 runs.
India lost its campaign opener against its arch-rival, Pakistan, and remained one run short of targets against UAE. Then lost against England by 15 runs in the Bowl's second match.
