Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg surprise Times Square with ‘Fortnite’ performance

Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg join ‘Fortnite’ for Times Square, launching Chapter 2 Remix with Juice WRLD tribute.

On Friday, Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg performed in Times Square, surprising attendees and “Fortnite” players as the event was live-streamed in-game.

The duo’s appearance launched “Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix,” a music-themed experience that includes contributions from Snoop, Ice Spice, Eminem, and the estate of Juice WRLD. Epic Games announced that each artist will have a unique presence within the game through themed gameplay locations, available over four weeks.

Starting November 2, Snoop Dogg will join “Fortnite Festival” as the Icon for Season 6. “Being part of Fortnite is all about creating, playing, and sharing my music and culture with the next generation,” Snoop said, adding that he and his son Cordell are both fans of the game. Eminem, set to debut on November 7, commented on his return, saying, “Guess who’s back, ready for combat, man! I’m serving all new gear along with a side of spaghetti… come and get it!”

Ice Spice joins the game on November 14 as “Princess of New York,” excited to share her creativity. “Getting the chance to come to the game and remix the Chapter 2 map is unreal,” she stated, noting how thrilled she is to add her style to the experience. Juice WRLD’s legacy will be honored in Week 4, with exclusive items and in-game events. Carmela Wallace, mother of Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins, reflected on the tribute, saying, “I know he would be overjoyed to see how his love for games continues to bring people together.”

The “Chapter 2 Remix” campaign will conclude with a live event on November 30, offering players who log in a Juice WRLD-inspired Slayer Outfit.
