The government has announced an increase in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices, issuing a notification to that effect, reported Express News on Thursday.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) released the new pricing notification for November, indicating a rise of Rs2.88 per kilogram in LPG prices.
As a result of this increase, the cost of a domestic LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs34.09, bringing the total price to Rs2,999.47.
For October, the price of a domestic cylinder was set at Rs2,965.38. The latest hike is expected to impact households across the country as LPG is a key energy source for many.
