To ensure Dobrev was surprised, White cleverly sent her a fake invitation to a CFDA/Vogue dinner with Anna Wintour, prompting her to dress up in Chanel and show up for the surprise engagement. The proposal took place under an arch of white roses, with White presenting a stunning five-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring he had hidden in their home for weeks.
