Lil Durk allegedly ignored OTF Jam's baby mama's call for a lawyer before arrest
Less than a week after Lil Durk's arrest in Florida, rumors are spreading across the internet that OTF Jam, one of his group members, may have informed on him. A video posted on X on Monday, October 28, features a conversation between Trenches News and DJ Akademiks, where Trenches claims that OTF Jam—a rapper allegedly acting as an FBI informant for years—was the informant.
In the video, Akademiks asked Trenches to confirm if Lil Durk ignoring calls from Jam's "baby mama" led to threats, stating: "I heard you say something about, like, his [OTF Jam's] baby mama call Durk for a lawyer and Durk may have brushed it off and they were, like, yo, you're not supposed to brush off my call when I need something... I'm the guy who does the dirt for you."
Trenches affirmed his previous comments by stating: "That's facts."
Wack 100 also mentioned OTF Jam on his show on October 27, suggesting that the rapper received a 10-year prison sentence and was released in 2022.
Before discussing OTF Jam’s "baby mama," Akademiks questioned Trenches on the rumors of Jam allegedly wearing a wire, saying: "So I'm asking you this: What do you think the likelihood is that he's cooperating [with the FBI] and he recorded Durk and other people while they were discussing crimes?"
Trenches replied: "Well, he's doing it, man... whether the Quando Rondo incident or other incidents, he totally listening... all the members [of the OTF] said that he told [the FBI]."
Trenches further explained the dynamics within gangs that allegedly operate like OTF, adding:
"In them type of situations, you got some real demons out there... it's like, ni**a, you finna buy me out no matter what I did, or you gonna come in with me. If you participate in a crime, you gotta feed the killers, man... you gotta feed them all."
