Digital testing to phase out paper use

In light of the provincial government's directives, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) has completed all arrangements to gradually phase out paper-based testing and introduce a computer-based system.

This transition will initiate a new era of innovation, transparency, and convenience in the testing process. ETEA will soon establish collaboration agreements with all public universities and colleges in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, as well as with private educational institutions. The aim is so that these institutions can serve as testing centres and utilise their existing infrastructure to provide candidates with convenient test facilities at nearby locations.

In this regard, initial discussions with Virtual University have agreed to use its existing resources for this purpose and to commence computer-based exams. In the computer-based system, the exam preparation process will be fully automated.
