New developments have emerged in the high-profile murder-for-hire case involving rapper Lil Durk.

According to Chicago Tribune reporter Jason Meisner, two of the last alleged co-conspirators in Durk’s case recently waived their detention hearings at Chicago’s federal courthouse. This move permits U.S. marshals to transfer them to Los Angeles, where the alleged crime took place and where they will face charges.

The transfer follows the unsealing of a federal criminal complaint in California last Friday. The charges include conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, committing murder-for-hire resulting in death, and using a machine gun in a violent crime.

In total, five individuals tied to Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) collective are implicated. Federal prosecutors depict OTF as a "hybrid organization," functioning both as a music group and a criminal gang. The complaint, as reported by journalist Meghann Cuniff, alleges that OTF operates as an “association-in-fact” under Durk’s direction to engage in violent acts, including murder and assault, aimed at preserving members' status within the collective.

The case has drawn widespread attention, with the alleged criminal undertones of the music collective now under increasing scrutiny.
