Actor Armie Hammer has taken a new step to re-establish his image with the launch of his podcast, The Armie HammerTime Podcast, which premiered on October 28.

The podcast’s first episode, an hour-long conversation with actor and comedian Tom Arnold, marks Hammer’s return to the public sphere, where he promises an open and introspective approach. “Some of you are going to love this, and some of you are going to hate it,” Hammer shared in an Instagram video on Monday, showing himself skateboarding through Venice Beach.

The podcast serves as both an interview series and “a journal of sorts,” he said, where he hopes to have “long-form, interesting conversations” with individuals who possess unique skills or insights. "I want to learn," he emphasized, detailing that his journey back to Los Angeles after a four-year hiatus is part of his motivation for sharing his experiences. The series will reportedly address Hammer’s life since returning to the city, aiming to "chronicle putting my life back together."

In clips from the episode with Arnold, Hammer addresses past controversies, including 2021 allegations involving physical and sexual abuse, as well as claims about cannibalistic behavior, which led him to crisis PR interventions. “We’re going to have interesting conversations with interesting people," he added, "and yeah, let you into my world a little bit."

Currently, Hammer has no new acting projects following his role in 2022's Death on the Nile. A source told People in June that Hammer “wants to prove himself and win back credibility by clawing his way back into Hollywood” without relying on “favors.” The HammerTime podcast represents Hammer's latest attempt to rebuild his career amid past controversies.
