Karachi may begin to experience cooler nights from mid-November, according to several weather forecasting platforms.

Karachi and lower Sindh are currently engulfed in a wave of high temperature, with daytime temperatures recorded between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius.

It is also to be noted that a reduction in heat intensity is not expected until the end of October.

From November 6 or 7, the effects of this weather pressure will start to diminish. By mid-November, daytime temperatures may settle between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, there is an expectation of cooler nights beginning in mid-November, bringing relief to residents from the ongoing heat.

Hopes for an immediate reprieve from the sweltering heat in Karachi have faded, as the Meteorological Department has predicted three more days of heat.

Yesterday, Karachi experienced a hot day, with fluctuating humidty and feels-like temperatures reaching around 40 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile temperaturesreaching 40 degrees and 39 degrees are expected for today and on Tuesday.

In rural Sindh, temperatures in Sajawal, Thatta, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, and Tharparkar could rise up to 42 degrees.

However, sea breezes are expected to return in the evening.

Chief Meteorologist Karachi, Sardar Sarfaraz, stated that humidity levels between 20 and 30 percent will prevent the formation of a heatwave.

The Early Warning Center also indicated that temperatures in rural Sindh districts like Sujawal, Thatta, Umerkot, and Tharparkar may range from 37 to 39 degrees, while other districts in the province are expected to experience hot and dry weather.
