Imaan Mazari, husband held for allegedly interfering with official operations

Imaan Mazari and her husband have been arrested on charges of interfering in official matters.

According to a spokesperson for the Islamabad police, Imaan Mazari and her husband were taken into custody by the Aabpara police for their alleged involvement in obstructing official duties.

A case has been registered against them, and Imaan Mazari has been transferred to the women's police station, Express News reported.

The police spokesperson stated that the couple posed a security risk during the visit of an international cricket team by interfering in official duties.

Both were arrested in accordance with the law and regulations.

The English cricket team was in Pakistan for a three-match Test series, with the final match held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
