Lil Durk’s recent arrest for alleged involvement in a 2022 attempt on Quando Rondo's life has been making headlines. The rapper was reportedly preparing to leave for Italy on Friday, October 25, when authorities detained him. The alleged attempt on Rondo’s life led to the death of his cousin Lul Pab after three men opened fire on their vehicle.

Lil Durk faces murder-for-hire charges, while Quando Rondo released a new track titled Life Goes On the day following Durk's arrest, which he announced on his Instagram on October 27, 2024.

Rondo posted a message along with a photo showing the song’s cover image, stating, "We didn't get into this music industry to make it just to stay caught up in this street s**t. We all have families and communities counting on us. It's time to leave all that behind."

He also mentioned in his statement, "We've already lost so much, and it's heavy on my heart to forgive anyone I had issues with in the past. It's all love from me. Praying for everyone."

Many of Quando Rondo’s fans showed their support, while some others called for Durk’s release from jail.

As reported, Lil Durk was taken into custody by South Florida authorities, and this news came a day after five more individuals were arrested in connection with the attempt on Quando Rondo's life.

The five people are members of Durk’s hip-hop group, OTF (Only The Family), and face charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, in addition to murder-for-hire involving death and the use of a machine gun in a deadly violent crime.

Notably, Lil Durk reportedly booked three separate international flights on the day of his arrest, according to FBI documents. An October 27 report by Hip Hop DX revealed that U.S. Customs and Border Protection alerts informed authorities of Durk's entry onto two different flights.

One of Durk’s flights was scheduled to travel to Dubai via Doha, Qatar, while the other was headed to Switzerland from New Jersey. Although both flights were set to depart on October 24, 2024, Durk did not board either and instead left Miami on a private plane.
