A total of six million people have been affected by the floods so far, according to the chief minister.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed its concern over the recent rain and floods in Sindh and has urged the world to give importance to the grave situation.
The UN is also concerned over the extreme weather situation in Pakistan as the country witnessed severe floods last year and is now facing a similar situation.
United Nations’ humanitarian coordinator, Timo Pakkala said the world should come forward to help the flood victims.
Pakkala added that all the UN agencies are active for rehabilitation in the area and will continue to help the people affected by the floods.
