Three PTCL workers kidnapped

Three employees of PTCL were abducted by unknown kidnappers from Tapi village in Miranshah tehsil of North Waziristan district, police said on Sunday.

Police have registered a case against the unidentified kidnappers and launched an investigation. They identified the victims as Hazrat Jabir, Saadarullah and Gulzadeen.

Police said that they were kidnapped while on field duty. The kidnapping incident took place a day after terrorists detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting law-enforcement at a check post in the North Waziristan district, resulting in the martyrdom of at least eight people.
