Shujaat moves to blow new life into PML-Q
PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has decided to revitalize his party nationwide, appointing Dr Muhammad Amjad as the chief organizer of the party, which held power from 2002 to 2008 under General Pervez Musharraf's regime.
Issuing the appointment notification on Sunday, Shujaat directed Dr Amjad to conduct a countrywide campaign to bring back disillusioned party workers.
"Mobilize the wings and reorganize the party structure overseas," Shujaat instructed Dr Amjad. He called for strengthening ties with other parties to promote political stability, noting that close relations among political parties are essential for the country's welfare.
"These connections will help foster political stability," he added.
The veteran politician advocated for political dialogue as the solution to the nation's challenges and urged all parties to contribute to the stability of the country. "Sustainable economic development depends on political stability," he said.
Dr Muhammad Amjad expressed gratitude to Shujaat for appointing him as the party's chief organizer, stating that the PML-Q's trust in him was an honor.
