Singer Demi Lovato and her family are grieving a tragic loss after her sister, actress Madison De La Garza, revealed the heartbreaking passing of her newborn daughter. On October 26, De La Garza took to Instagram to share the emotional news, explaining that her first child with boyfriend Ryan Mitchell died shortly after an emergency C-section on September 27. "On the evening of September 27th, after an emergency C-section, Ryan and I held our little girl for the first and last time," the 22-year-old actress wrote. She added, "Thank you, Xiomara, for making us parents to the most perfect angel in heaven. Mommy and Daddy love you, sweet girl."

Lovato, 32, widely recognized for her roles in Camp Rock and Let It Go, expressed her sorrow and support, sharing on Instagram, "I love you so much, Xiomara. An angel in every sense of the word. I’ll be your auntie forever." In a follow-up Instagram Story, Lovato added, "RIP to my beautiful, perfect niece Xiomara. I’m so grateful I got to hold you." Her post also included a message of love for her sister, tagging De La Garza and writing, "I love you so much."

Lovato’s fiancé, Jutes, joined the family in mourning by commenting, “I love you so much [black heart emoji]. Rest easy, baby angel Xiomara.”

De La Garza, who gained fame on Desperate Housewives alongside Eva Longoria, initially announced her pregnancy in September. As the family copes with this heartbreaking tragedy, fans and friends continue to express their support for Lovato and De La Garza, who remember Xiomara as their “perfect angel in heaven.”
