Joe Rogan laughs as Donald Trump struggles to explain 2020 election fraud claims in podcast
former president Donald Trump, who continued to claim the 2020 election was "stolen" without offering specific evidence. The three-hour interview saw Rogan pressing Trump for details on how the alleged fraud occurred, but Trump’s responses left the host visibly amused. When Rogan asked for examples, Trump responded, “I won by like—I lost by like…I didn’t lose,” leading Rogan to laugh.
I won.
I lost.
I didn’t lose.
They say I lost.
Rogan: Hahaha.

Trump, aiming to clarify his position, went on to say, “They say I lost by 22,000 votes…that’s one one-tenth of one percent,” claiming that these narrow margins across states added up. Trump continued by criticizing intelligence officials, saying, “Fifty-one intelligent agents lied…they said it was created by Russia,” referring to the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, which he claimed influenced public opinion ahead of the election.
This interview highlights Trump’s use of the “stolen election” narrative, which remains a central theme in his campaign against Democratic opponent Kamala Harris. At an earlier rally in Michigan, Trump emphasised his belief that he “did win” in 2020, attributing his decision to run again to his belief in a rigged process. Despite a lack of evidence supporting widespread voter fraud, Trump’s insistence on this claim remains a key part of his strategy as he approaches the 2024 election.
