Isa departs for Istanbul

Former CJP Qazi Faez Isa on Saturday left for Istanbul, Turkey.

The former CJP departed from new Islamabad airport via Turkish Airlines flight TK-711 and was accompanies by his wife.

Isa, who completed his tenure as the chief justice on Friday, traveled with standard protocol staff and boarded the flight through the international lounge at the airport.

On Friday, the Supreme Court held a full court reference to bid the former CJP farewell, where senior lawyers recounted his tenure's highlights. He was sworn in as the 29th CJP on Sept 17, 2023 at a ceremony, where his wife Sarina Isa was standing beside him as he read out the oath.
