'People in showbiz industry are bad': Actor Areej Chaudhary

he discussed issues like inappropriate relationships and casting couch practices, sharing that an older director once asked her to "form relations."

Without naming anyone, Areej stated that the director had not sought a marriage proposal but had instead sent her messages proposing a casual romantic relationship. She shared that surviving in the industry requires resilience and tolerance, mentioning that despite a strong audition, she was denied a role. When she asked the director why she wasn’t selected, he reportedly told her, "You didn’t give me the ‘green signal’; how could I cast you?"

Areej further revealed that several directors approached her with similar intentions, though she refrained from naming anyone.
