Hailie Jade Scott, the daughter of iconic rapper Eminem, has announced she is expecting her first child with husband Evan McClintock. The 28-year-old influencer took to Instagram on Wednesday, 23rd October, to share a series of photos from a recent trip to Texas.
In the Instagram post captioned, "This weekend in Texas 🤠," Scott shared images of her and McClintock at an outdoor racetrack. In one photo, Scott was seen dressed casually in an oversized T-shirt, knee-high boots, and a purse. Another photo captured the couple smiling together in the sunshine, enjoying their time at the venue. The final image was the most touching — a small pair of brown and navy cowboy boots, a nod to the couple's soon-to-arrive baby.
Scott and McClintock, who met while attending Michigan State University in 2016, tied the knot in May 2024, a year after McClintock’s proposal in February 2023. The couple announced their pregnancy earlier this month with the help of Hailie’s father, Eminem.
The couple’s pregnancy reveal came in a heartfelt five-minute video accompanying Eminem’s song “Temporary” featuring Skylar Grey. The video featured old home footage of Hailie and recent clips of her wedding. In an emotional moment, Scott hands Eminem an ultrasound image and a blue jersey emblazoned with "Grandpa" and the number one, leaving the rap icon visibly moved.
In an October 11th episode of her Just A Little Shady podcast, Scott confirmed that she and McClintock are expecting a baby boy. She shared the couple’s excitement, adding, “Evan’s already planning to take him golfing and hunting, but I’m making sure we’re going to Target together too.”
Their son is due in 2025, marking a new chapter for the couple and for Hailie, who continues to share her life as a social media influencer and podcaster with her growing fan base.
