Man kills sister over 'honour' in capital
In a shocking series of events, a man allegedly slaughtered his sister in the federal capital, while the tortured body of a youth was discovered in the Gulberg Green area on Wednesday.
In the first incident, a man named Zain, residing near the railway station within the jurisdiction of Golra police station, allegedly slit his sister's throat with a knife.
According to the police, the accused suspected his sister's character. The case was registered based on a complaint from the victim's paternal uncle. The family and residents arrested Zain and handed him over to the police.
In another incident, the police found a body in Gulberg Green. The deceased was identified as Abdul Majid. His body was discovered in an under-construction house in Gulberg Green. On the same day, the police said valuables worth millions of rupees were stolen, in 20 separate incidents of street crime.
