Protest: ‘Black Day’ observed by Jamaat

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) observed a black day to condemn the US aggression towards Muslim states.

KARACHI:

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) observed a black day to condemn the US aggression towards Muslim states on Sunday. The rally ended in front of Quaid’s mausoleum.

The protesters held placards with anti-US slogans and set ablaze an American flag at the end of the rally.

The leader of Jamat-e-Islami Karachi chapter, Muhammed Hussain Mehanti, said that the war imposed by America has completely destroyed Pakistan. He criticised political parties, calling them American agents.

About 9/11 he said that it had been planned by America itself to do war with Afghanistan, Islam and the Muslims.

The current situation in Pakistan is the result of wrong short term policies pursued by the ‘puppet’ leadership in Pakistan after 9/11, he said.
