The Motorway Police thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt on the M1 Motorway near Tarnol and recovered 10 kilogrammes of heroin worth millions from an abandoned vehicle.
Authorities, acting on a tip-off, stopped a suspicious double cabin vehicle with an Islamabad green number plate coming from Peshawar.
The occupants attempted to flee but abandoned the vehicle during the chase. Upon inspection, police discovered 10kg of heroin inside the vehicle.
