Earlier this month, a shooting incident occurred on the Indus Highway near Naper Kot when armed robbers opened fire on a passenger coach.

Police reported that the attack resulted in the death of one passenger and injuries to three others.

The deceased passenger's body and the injured were transported to Khanpur Hospital for treatment. The passenger coach was en route from Karachi to Kashmore at the time of the attack.

Following the incident, passengers protested on the Indus Highway, causing traffic disruptions as the gunmen fled towards the rural areas.

Meanwhile, on October 10, a traffic accident near Bolari on the M-9 Motorway claimed the lives of three people, according to the Motorway Police spokesperson.

The accident occurred when a car traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi lost control after a tire blew out.
