Security guard shoots 7-year-old boy at Lahore farmhouse

A child who went to drink water at a farmhouse was shot dead by a security guard.

As reported by Express News, the police stated that the shooting incident took place in the Chohang area of Lahore. A case has been registered based on the complaint of the deceased boy's father.

The FIR states that the 7-year-old boy went to the farmhouse to drink water while playing cricket.

The guard, identified as Nazir, shot and killed the child. The suspect had previously prevented the boy from drinking water at the farmhouse just a few days prior.

The police further stated that the suspect attempted to conceal the incident and fled the scene when neighbors witnessed the event. The police later apprehended him at a bus station.

The case has named guard Nazir along with two unidentified individuals.

On June 4, a TikToker was shot dead by a security guard near Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi in Karachi's North Nazimabad area on Monday, Express News reported.

The incident occurred at the Sareena Mobile Market, where the TikToker recorded a video. The security guard reportedly instructed him to stop recording and leave the premises immediately.

Despite the guard's warnings, the victim continued recording, which allegedly provoked the guard to open fire in anger.

Police reported that the TikToker died on the spot. His body was subsequently transported to the hospital for official procedures.

Following the incident, police arrived, collected evidence, and arrested the security guard. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Last month, a 32-year-old man was fatally shot by unknown individuals in Tiramiri, Phase 8.

Identified as Gul Mat Khan, the victim was the son of Mir Muhammad and a resident of Godha Sardar, Ghauri Town Phase 8 who had been working as a security guard in Phase 5 for the past three to four years.
