FinMin to attend IMF, WB meetings
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has left for the United States to participate in the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank, according to the Ministry of Finance.
During his visit, the finance minister is expected to hold high-level discussions with senior officials from both the IMF and the World Bank, as well as with his counterparts from China, the UK, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Turkiye.
The ministry further stated that meetings with top officials from the US State and Treasury Departments are also scheduled. He will engage with representatives from global credit rating agencies and commercial banks.
