Carnival celebrates girls' sports

A three-day girls sports carnival was organised by the Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad and Federal Directorate of Education Islamabad at Pakistan Sports Board.

Girls from all over Pakistan and other countries participated in the Girls Sports Carnival Festival. On the last day of the event, cultural and sports performance were held to bring the carnival to a close.

The Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan, Andrea Wieck, was a guest at the event. She visited all the stalls in the carnival, purchasing from small vendors and appreciating all the effort that had gone into organising the carnival. Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz Akbar, Rawalpindi Army Public School System Brigadier Dr Muhammad Naveed, Federal Board and Federal Directorate Directors participated.
