Imran rebukes party leaders for plans failure

Imran gives party leaders a tongue-lashing for failing to deliver on instructions

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan gave his party leaders a tongue-lashing during their visit to Adiala Jail, reprimanding them for failing to deliver on his instructions.

According to jail sources, the former prime minister expressed frustration and criticised the delegation for dropping the ball on his directives.

Led by Barrister Gohar, a PTI delegation visited the incarcerated leader to discuss constitutional amendments, but the meeting quickly veered off course.

According to insiders, Imran sternly criticised the delegation, stating, "None of you have been of any use to me."

Imran Khan voiced his deep disappointment with the PTI's recent efforts, saying, "I gave you a plan to get me out of here, but no one followed it."

He particularly condemned the party's failure to sustain protests, pointing out the lack of successful demonstrations.

"I told you to protest during the SCO summit, but none of you acted on it," he reportedly scolded, adding, "If you don't implement the plan I've given, I won't be able to get out."

The meeting between Imran Khan and the PTI leaders was notably short, ending without any clear resolution or strategy moving forward. According to sources, the discussion left no indication of a path to address the issues raised.

This comes after Adiala Jail authorities refuted allegations of mistreatment, asserting that Khan continues to receive all B-Class facilities, including uninterrupted electricity, meals, and daily exercise.
