Jack Quaid, star of the hit series The Boys, expressed his discomfort with the frequent nudity in the show during a recording of the Happy Sad Confused podcast at New York Comic Con. Speaking about his on-screen exposure, Quaid, 32, humorously noted, “My butt’s had a lot of screen time and it’s not a great one.” Reflecting on how his family reacts to such scenes, Quaid joked that he advises them to avoid watching certain episodes, particularly season 3. "My butt's all over that thing," he said.

During a previous interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2022, Quaid discussed the modesty wear used during nude scenes, humorously comparing it to "an at-home COVID test" and admitting it might be worse than being fully naked. While Quaid acknowledged that filming these scenes has become "only slightly" easier over time, he shared with Glamour that the process still feels unnatural. “You're just kind of naked in a room full of very clothed people, and it’s just a thing the human brain isn’t used to,” he said, explaining the oddness of the experience.

Quaid, the son of actors Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, has earned acclaim for his role in The Boys, but his remarks indicate that he's ready for a break from the show’s risqué content.
