After a two-month break, Taylor Swift resumed her Eras Tour in the U.S. with a sold-out show at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. On Friday night, the singer-songwriter treated fans to a special acoustic set, including surprise performances of fan-favorite songs from her extensive catalog.
Swift began the surprise set by performing a mash-up of "Tim McGraw" from her debut album and "Timeless," a vault track from Speak Now (Taylor's Version). She played both songs on guitar, and the crowd enthusiastically responded to her mix of nostalgic hits and newer material.
For the second half of the acoustic section, Swift moved to the piano, where she seamlessly fused "This Is Me Trying" from Folklore with "Daylight" from Lover. Fans appreciated the emotional depth of both songs, as Swift showcased her songwriting talents in a stripped-down setting.
Adding to the night's surprises, Swift invited Florence Welch onstage to perform their duet, "Florida!!!", during The Tortured Poets Department era. The collaboration was met with cheers from the audience.
Swift will perform two more shows in Miami before continuing her U.S. leg of the tour. The final show of the Eras Tour is scheduled for Dec. 8 in Vancouver, Canada.
