Mark Cuban supports Kamala Harris for president, discusses tariffs, AI, and business policies

Mark Cuban endorses Kamala Harris for president, citing her leadership on AI, healthcare and business

Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban has emerged as a prominent supporter of Kamala Harris in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. In an interview with The Guardian, Cuban praised Harris for her understanding of technology, particularly artificial intelligence, and her commitment to reducing healthcare costs. "She understands technology and the importance it has to national security, far, far better than her opponent," Cuban said. He also highlighted her ability to appeal to a wide range of voters, emphasizing her problem-solving approach and ethical leadership.

Cuban criticized Donald Trump’s use of tariffs, arguing that they harm small businesses and destabilize the economy. "Stability is the key for larger businesses," he said, explaining how tariffs on imported goods hurt American companies. He further supported Harris’s plans to benefit small businesses, including tax credits and startup cost expansions.

Cuban, who has a history of challenging fellow billionaires like Elon Musk, expressed confidence that Harris would appeal to business leaders who seek stability and innovation. He also mentioned that he has coordinated with Harris's campaign and appeared at a rally in Wisconsin.
